Budapest is divided into two parts Buda ( on the left) and Pest ( on
the right ) by Danube.
In front Elizabeth Bridge. This suspension bridge bears the
name of Elizabeth of Wittelsbach, the wife of Franz-Josef, Empress of Austria
and Queen of Hungary, namely Sissy.
Farther the Chain Bridge, the city's oldest bridge, is also
called Széchenyi Bridge, after the person who commissioned its construction.
Farthest the Margaret Bridge is the work of French engineer
Ernest Goulin, who with the Batignoles Construction firm was chosen from
the other foreign candidates to carry out the project. The work began in
1872 and was finished in 1876.
This unusual bridge is made of two arms that meet above the island
